Summer Bishil is an American actress who is best known for her portrayal of Margo Hanson on the Syfy the fantasy-based drama The Magicians (2015-present). The Alan Ball movie Towelhead, she played the 13-year old Lebanese American girl Jasira that experiences a rollercoaster of emotions within the context that of U.S. military's invasion of Iraq during the Gulf War. Then, in 2007 Variety named her one of its 10 Actors-to-Watch. The year 2009 was the time she played the formidable Taslima in the film Crossing Over. She was nominated for the Independent Spirit Award for Best Female Lead for this film.
